Last week Year 2 Graphic Design students were joined by Luke Thompson and Claire Campion of Kin Interactive Design Practice, one of our regular external partners, for an exciting day of documenting and researching spaces and subjects through physical activities in different environments.

They led an active research workshop: Collect, Edit, Present to get help students develop an active research process in various museum locations in Winchester. This kicked off our current project, Cultural Identities; developing exhibition branding and identity systems. Students visited sites including The Great Hall, Winchester Cathedral, The Gurhka Museum and The Hospital of St Cross, editing their imagery, rubbings and collating/editing to create posters conveying an element of the museum.
