On the 16th March, our students took the train to Waterloo and took part in a series of visits to some of the U.K.’s leading design and illustration studios. These visits included: ustwo, Moving Brands, Mr President, Pentagram, Bibliothéque, NousVous, Owen Gildersleeve, NoBrow and Toby Triumph and they provided students with the valuable opportunity to talk with leading professionals about their working life. In an intense day of activities students took part in brainstorms, were given presentations from recent alumni, viewed projects and outcomes had never before been presented to the public and took part in Q&A sessions that provided tips and advice that will prove invaluable to their future development. At the end of the day we retired to several hostelries around East London, to continue the discussion in a more informal setting.
