Students from Year 1 and Year 2 have just returned from an exciting one week study trip to Berlin. The group were based in a hotel in the east of the city close to the iconic Alexanderplatz. We had a busy itinerary including some of the city’s fantastic art spaces such as the Hamburger Bahnhof and the Bauhaus Museum. We also had invitations to visit some of Berlin’s top design studios including Hort, Feld, Node and Pentagram. At Pentagram the students were treated to an excellent talk by Berlin-based partner Justus Oehler, and the design team from Feld have offered to set a brief for Year 2 students later this year.
