Next up is a project from Asma Nazir — Using Islamic geometric patterns as a starting point and grid, Asma developed 4 display typefaces with Latin characters. By laser etching Unity Regular (one of the final typefaces) into perspex, the incredibly intricate details of each letter is accentuated. Also, exhibited are a series of beautifully made type specimen booklets showing off the typeface in print.
